Founded in 1992 in Port Angeles, Washington, it originally was named for the Olympic Peninsula and was a local group. After many requests for expansion beyond the area, the association became a worldwide organization. We kept the name Olympic because for many people this symbolizes the spirit of peaceful cooperation, friendly competition and striving for success that the Olympic Games bring. It is a name recognized worldwide.

OHBBA is a private organization, which means that we can focus on delivering benefits to the members rather than on internal politics. We can set our own rules to best serve our organization and member businesses.
